A man was killed and three women were injured in a shooting in Little Village on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Around 4:34 p.m., a 46-year-old man, a 25-year-old woman, a 47-year-old woman and a woman of unknown age were standing near the sidewalk on the 3400 block of West 26th Street when they were shot by a person who has not yet been identified by authorities, police said.
The man was shot multiple times and later pronounced dead at a local hospital, authorities said. The 25-year-old woman was shot in the face and initially listed in fair condition at a local hospital.
The 47-year-old woman was shot in the arm and initially listed in good condition at a local hospital, authorities said.
The woman of unknown age was shot in the lower back and initially listed in critical condition after self-transporting to a local hospital, authorities said.
Video shared to social media showed police tape stretched across 26th Street as authorities blocked traffic to investigate.
