
One of the Chicago area’s favorite summer traditions is back, as this year’s free film series will kick off next month at Millennium Park.
The series will get underway on June 30 and will continue on Tuesdays throughout the summer, bringing with it a mix of classic films and newer releases to provide something for residents of all ages.
The films will run the gamut from “Ratatouille” to “Sinners,” and will get underway each Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. at Millennium Park’s Jay Pritzker Pavilion.
All movies are free and open to the public, according to city officials.
Here is the full list of scheduled movies for the summer:
June 30: Independence Day
July 7: Ratatouille
July 14: When Harry Met Sally
July 21: This is Spinal Tap
July 28: Hamilton
August 4: Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
August 11: The Devil Wears Prada
August 18: Sinners
Those visiting the park for the movie series can enter at Michigan Avenue and Washington, or at one of the other entrances to the park, according to officials.
