Hours before Pop Smoke died he was seen with his best friend Mike Dee. The two seemed to be enjoying life in front of the Hollywood home, being flashy with plenty of bling and lots of cash. Coincidentally, masked men stormed into the rappers home and killed him. This sent speculation as to who eluded the mask killers into the home and why.
According to multiple reports, the rapper was at his home in the Hollywood Hills around 4:30 AM when two men wearing hoodies and masks broke into his house. Cops say the two men fired multiple shots critically injuries Pop Smoke. The two men fled on foot, and it’s unclear if they took any of the cash that was inside of the home.
At this point, no suspects have been identified and law enforcement is trying to figure out if Pop Smoke knew these individuals and they somehow made their way to the party, or if he was a target for the stacks of cash.
Mike Dee spoke out about the speculations, saying “Can’t nothing express the pain I’m feeling…I just lost my f-ing brother, my heart my dawgz. You guys have no type of sense or sympathy! Y’all don’t kno whats going on yall come on here playing investigator and bashing me on the internet, I would never in my life set up my brother up, we ate together, broke bread together, this really my mother child.”
He continued, “I don’t gotta explain nothing to nobody that dont kno me but for the ones who know me know when you saw me you saw Pop. We live in such a f-up society yall gotta wake up. Just kno I got you forever brother the truth will come to light until then sleep in peace…”
