At least 13 additional persons have died from complications of coronavirus in Ghana.
Director General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, made this known to the media on Thursday, January 28, 2021.
According to him, the latest deaths have increased the country’s fatality toll from 377 to 390.
Dr. Kuma-Aboagye added that the total of 390 represented the figure for January 25, this year.

He said as of January 25, 2021, Ghana’s total confirmed cases were 63,883.
Dr Kuma-Aboagye noted that as of January 25, 2021, 757,560 tests were conducted.
According to him, as of January 25, also 59,553 discharges or recoveries had been recorded.
He added that there were 3,940 active cases as of January 25, 2021.
