Nigeria has launched the first electric car for the West African sub-region.
The Hyundai Kona electric car, African Entertainment gathered, was unveiled on Friday, February 5, 2021 in Abuja, the political capital of Nigeria.
The Personal Assistant on New Media to President Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, in a tweet, noted that the Hyundai Kona was Nigeria’s first locally assembled electric car.
“This is Hyundai Kona, the Nigeria’s first Locally Assembled Electric Car, unveiled today by the @NADDCouncil in Abuja,” he tweeted on Friday evening.
