Nigerian Soldiers Feared Dead As Army Aircraft Crashes In Abuja


 

An unknown number of Nigerian military personnel are feared dead following an army aircraft crash.

The crash reportedly occured on Sunday, February 21, 2021, in Abuja, Nigeria.

According to reports, the crash occurred while the plane was approaching the Abuja airport.

The Minister of Aviation, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hadi Siriki, confirmed the crash in a post on Twitter.

“A military aircraft King Air 350 has just crashed short of our Abuja runway after reporting engine failure en riute Minna, It appears to be fatal”, his post sighted by African Entertainment read.
