Minister-designate for Communications and Digitalization, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has mourned the late former Chairman of the Governing Board of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
Mrs. Owusu-Ekuful took to her official Facebook page on Monday, February 22, 2021, to announce the death of Mr Owusu.
In her post sighted by African Entertainment, she said “On receiving the sad news of the passing of Mr. Harry Owusu, a former Chairman of the Ghana Revenue Authority board, I visited his Dansoman residence to commiserate with his widow and family.”
“Mr. Harry Owusu was a distinguished professional and a stalwart of the New Patriotic Party who served his Nation and Party in many roles,” she noted, adding that “May his soul rest in peace. He will be missed dearly!”

Harry Owusu and other individuals including Kofi Nti, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, Ernest Akore, Adelaide Ahwireng, Juliana Addo-Yobo, Major Ablorh Quarcoo, Millison Narh, member, and Col. Kojo Damoah, were sworn into office by Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Attta, in May 2017 as Board members and Chairman of the GRA Board.
