Tiger Woods In Surgery Following Auto Crash In Los Angeles

Tiger Woods is reportedly in surgery following multiple injuries sustained from a single-car accident in Los Angeles.

According to Wood’s agent, Mark Steinberg, the 45-year-old legendary golfer had the accident Tuesday morning and is currently in surgery.

The L.A County Sherriff’s office has also revealed more details on the accident which occurred at about 7:12 am Tuesday morning.

“The driver and sole occupant was identified as PGA golfer, Eldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods. Mr. Woods was extricated from the wreck with the ‘jaws of life’ by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics, then transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries,” the statement reads.

Woods was reportedly in California for a two-day a two-day content shoot with Golf Digest/GOLFTV. He had previously played host to the PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational.
