You’re Supposed To Be Supporting Us

Afrobeats singer KiDi is upset with Ghanaians for trolling musicians in the country for not winning a Grammy.

According to him, the people expected to be supporting and pushing himself and his colleagues are rather bashing them.

He described the ‘negativity’ as ‘mind-boggling’.

Taking to microblogging app Twitter, KiDi tweeted “since last night the negativity I’ve seen on here is mind boggling. Same people supposed to be supporting and pushing us? Damn, we can’t be happy for one man without trashing the next man?”

We hope and pray the Ghanaian music industry would grow to the Grammy stage.
