Several people lost their jobs and source of livelihood during the lockdown. Especially daily wagers and migrant workers who lost their source of income in the lockdown when travel restrictions were imposed. This also affected the domestic help who lost jobs and if not, were risking their lives to go to someone’s house for work. But while they continue to work, there are some ways you can help them be safe during these times.
Kriti Sanon shared a reel on Instagram as part of the #SocialForGood activity listing down ways you can help your domestic staff. She said that you must register them for vaccination and make sure they get the vaccine whenever possible. She also urged everyone to answer their questions about the vaccine or any other COVID-19 related query and help them financially and emotionally during these tough times.
