Even before the release of his debut film, Tadap alongside Tara Sutaria, newcomer Ahan Shetty has bagged a second biggie. The young actor has been signed on for Mahesh Bhatt’s franchise Aashiqui’s third instalment.
Speaking of this, a source close to the actor revealed, “After the full-on action in Tadap, Ahan wanted to prove himself in an emotional romantic theme. Aashiqui 3 will give him just the vehicle that he needs to prove his versatility.”
The source also gave an update on Tadap and said, “Ahan has completed his debut film Tadap with producer Sajid Nadiadwala. All the work is done. They are waiting for the theatres to open before announcing the date.”
There was also rumour of Khan doing a film with Akshay Kumar but this close source squashed the news and said there is no truth to the matter.
