Sonam Kapoor is one diva who is always known to speak her mind. Sonam Kapoor recently got talking with a leading daily about Bollywood and her upcoming film Blind.
Talking about Hindi cinema, Sonam Kapoor said that the pay gap between the male stars and the female stars needs looking into. She commented, “The pay gap is ridiculous. I can stand up to it, but then I don’t get those roles, and I’m okay with that. I can afford to do that. I realised over the past two or three years that I have no right to judge anybody. I’m privileged, so making difficult choices isn’t really difficult.”
Sonam Kapoor will be soon seen in a film backed by Sujoy Ghosh titled Blind. The actress plays a blind police officer who’s out there investigating a serial killer. The actress says that she shot for the film in Scotland amidst the second wave of pandemic. Sonam is really excited about the film and says that she wore white lenses whilst shooting the film so that the lenses blocked her vision and she got to understand her character better.
She even adds that she prepared for the role through Zoom calls and worked till wee hours to make sure she got things right. The actress is super kicked for this one and we can’t wait to watch her. Sonam was last seen in her 2019 releases – Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and The Zoya Factor.
