Ava DuVernay has proven she is all about the money moves, becoming a producer without ever attending school for it, she is one who knows her craft. Most recently, Ava snatched a bag with Warner Bros, signing a multi-million dollar deal with the company. The deal is set to begin in January. Snatching bag after bag, Ava DuVernay has worked on projects such as “A Wrinkle In Time,” “Selma,” “Queen Sugar,” the Netflix docuseries “13th,” and so much more. With “Wrinke In Time” she created history becoming the first woman of color to hit a $100 million with her live-action film with Disney.
“I’ve had nothing but beautiful experiences working with Peter Roth, Susan Rovner and Brett Paul,” DuVernay, said in a statement.
