The Deputy President of Kenya, William Ruto, has been blocked from traveling to Uganda, reports say.
According to local media reports, he was about to embark on the trip on Monday, August 2, 2021 but was made to wait for clearance for hours.
He was later stopped from flying to Uganda, reports say.
Reports say he was traveling to Uganda to attend to private matters.
But he was told by immigration officers that he needed to get clearance.
He is said to be having a frosty relationship with the President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Government.
