Marsia Martin is now the youngest executive producer in the world with her new movie “Little”. It all started with a dream from a then 11 year old girl named Marsai. Who is this little dreamer? We all know her from the hit television show Black-ish. Marsai Martin plays as the daughter of Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross. You may also recognize her from 2016’s “An American Girl Story”. Martin has also received several awards and nominations. Two of her awards were the NAACP Image Awards and Young Artist Award.
Marsai Martin has most recently adapted to the entertainment and television world by becoming the Executive Producer of a new film titled “Little”. Marsai Martin walked in the studio with Tracy Oliver to do a joint pitch of the new movie when Marsai was only 11 years old. Tracy Oliver is also the writer for the hit movie “Girls Trip” and many more. The movie was then presented to producer Willow Packer, who is said to soon embark on a joint venture with OWN.
Finally, with the perfect pitch the production of the movie evolved. The movie will start Issa Rae, Marsai Martin, and Regina Hall. The movie entails a woman who was punished by a child’s wish. The child wished for the woman to become a child so that she would see what being a child was like instead of being judgmental to the struggle children face. In the classic comedy actress Regina Hall magically turns into a child, which is then played by Marsai Martin.
Considering the track history of Tracy Oliver and Willow Parker, we know this movie will be a smash hit. Marsai Martin encourages the young to go after their dreams, like she literally did with her own.
