A woman was shot to death in Salt Lake City early Tuesday morning as she was riding a bicycle.
Police received reports of five or six gunshots fired in the area of 900 West and South Temple about 3:30 a.m. When officers arrived they found the 31-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, had been killed. According to police, she suffered a single gunshot wound.
No arrests have been made and police did not have a description of a suspect or suspects, although they did say they do not believe there is a threat to the public.
