The mortal remains of Syed Taalay Ahmed, the British journalist allegedly murdered by armed robbers in Ghana, are expected to be repatriated today, Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
Ahmed, aged 31, was allegedly killed why filming a documentary in Ghana. The documentary was meant to highlight the charity works conducted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, his employers said.
He is said to have hailed from Hartlepool in north-east England.
African Entertainment understands he was an employee of the UK-based Muslim Television Ahmadiyaa International network.
He is survived by a wife and two children.
