There are mixed reactions towards Egypt’s plan to tax online content creators.
Bloggers and YouTubers in Egypt are expected to be taxed in the new plan.
Those being asked to register with the Egyptian government and declare their annual income are those earning over 500,000 Egyptian pounds ($32,000; £23,000) yearly.
But some Egyptians are taking to social media to express their opposition to the plan. However, some have expressed their support for the new tax.
