Alicia Keys and Kandi Burruss wore the Same Green Zhivago dress during their interviews.
Alicia Keys appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” to talk about her first graphic novel – and what the story, which follows a girl name Lola, involves.
“She is from Brooklyn, she’s raised by a single father who’s also raising her brother,” Keys explains in the clip above. “Her mother is actually not around — as you read the story, you’ll find out why. And her brother was racially profiled and attacked by a police officer and she got so upset, she wanted to protect him and she just didn’t know what to do.”
In that moment, Keys explains, Lola realizes she has special powers.
“She’s trying to figure out what do I do with this energy?” Keys says. “How do I harness it? How do I use it? Am I crazy? And the whole book is really a metaphor to the superpowers we all have and trying to find our way to harness it.”
Keys was also on fire with her outfit that many are raving about. She was styled by Jason Bolden in a green Zhivago dress paired with Paris Texas shimmery green boots.
This week, Kandi Burruss appeared on “Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen” to talk about her show “Kandi and the Gang”. In the first episode viewers took a walk into Kandi’s restaurant life. Burruss runs an Atlanta hotspot called “Old Lady Gang” or “OLG”.
When asked about how she came up with the show she said Todd was the one who thought about it. He came up with a concept for us to do a restaurant. And then, while he was doing that, he was like, ‘Oh, we should do a TV show around this.’ So, he pitched it to our production company that works with us on ‘Housewives.’ And then he also pitched it to the network, and they liked the idea. At first, they were like, ‘OK, we’ll think about it.’ And then, later on, they came back and wanted to do it.
Burruss was styled by Jeremy Haynes, rocking the same green Zhivago dress with Guiseppe Zanotti sandals.
Although Alicia Keys and Kandi Burruss wore the same green Zhivago dress, both women looked amazing in spring ambiance.
