Ghana’s active Coronavirus cases have increased sharply once again.
From the 1,924 active cases announced by President Nana Akufo-Addo in his Update No. 22 on Sunday night, January 17, 2021, Ghana active cases have increased to 2,174. This means 366 new cases have been recorded since Sunday night.
Deaths linked to the virus have also risen from the 352 announced by the President on Sunday to 358, representing an increase of six deaths.
So far, confirmed cases, according to the Ghana Health Service, stands at 58,431.
There are 55,899 clinical recoveries so far in Ghana.
