South African actress and business woman, Boitumelo Thulo, popularly known as Boity, has alleged being physically assaulted.
In a post sighted by African Entertainment on her Instagram page, she informed her 5.1 million followers that “it is with deep sadness to state that I was indeed an unfortunate victim of a vicious physical assault and that I have since opened a case against the culprit, which I am following with a keen interest.”
She added that “I do not wish to comment on this matter any further (at this time).”
She requested that her privacy be respected as “…I try find a way to heal both physically and emotionally from this traumatic experience.”
The beautiful actress did not state where the alleged assault took place but expressed confidence in the justice system in South Africa, calling on all and sundry to “stand firmly against GBV (Gender-based Violence.”
