President Nana Akufo-Addo has made some key appointments to his office as he begins his final term.
Communications Director at the Office of the President, Eugene Arhin, released the list of appointees on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
The first batch of appointees are essentially persons who are to steer the affairs of the Office of the President at the Jubilee House in Accra.
Most of the old appointees in the President’s administration including Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei Opare, were maintained.
In the statement made available to African Entertainment, the President maintained lawyer, Nana Bediatuo Asante as his Secretary.
He also maintained Mercy Debrah-Karikari, Secretary to the Cabinet, Brigadier General Emmanuel Okyere, National Security Advisor.
Saratu Atta continues to serve as Personal Assistant (P.A) to the President, with Eugene Arhin also maintaining his position as Director of Communication at the Presidency.
New Faces
Meanwhile Emmanuel Adumua-Bossman, otherwise known as Carlos Von Brazzi and Fawaz Aliu have been named Deputy Chief of Staff.
Lord Commey remains Director of Operations while Sam Ellis becomes Director of Personnel at the Presidency and Dr. Isaac Owusu-Mensah, another new entrant, replaces the late Victor Newman as Director of Research.
