The seat of Government, the Jubilee House, has announced that President Nana Akufo-Addo will not appoint more than 85 Ministers and Deputy Ministers in his second term of office.
According to the Jubilee House, the President will on Thursday, January 21, 2021, submit the list of his Ministers to Parliament for vetting.
This was made this known in a statement issued by the Director of Communications, Office of the President, Eugene Arhin.
President Akufo-Addo was sharply criticized during his first term office from 2017 to 2020 for what many called his “elephant size” government.
The President in his first term appointed more than 120 Ministers and Deputy Ministers.
