This morning Mumbai woke up to heavy rainfall and storm as Cyclone Tauktae hit the west coast of India. The cyclone slowly picked up pace and created havoc in the city with trees falling on the streets, sheds of temporary shelters breaking and water from the sea oozing out on the roads. In such a scenario, several stars took to Instagram to send out information to the public to stay indoors and stay safe.
Alia Bhatt shared BMC’s official report asking people to stay inside as the cyclone would pick up pace through
the day, while Karisma Kapoor shared a helpline number to rescue stranded animals.
Not just that, Kajol too took to Instagram to share a message for her followers stating that people of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Goa and Gujarat must stay at home and not venture out as the cyclone tauktae engulfs the west coast.
