South superstar Allu Arjun has joined the sets of his upcoming pan-Indian film, Pushpa. According to media reports, the remainder of the film will be wrapped up within 45 days in a single stretch shooting schedule. The team will be shooting in Secunderabad. Pushpa will be released in two parts – at the end of 45 days, the makers aim to complete shooting the first part.
Pushpa is directed by Sukumar and stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Like with all other films, the shooting had been delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Pushpa will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada and in the original Telugu. The film has been made on a big budget with a single chase sequence of the movie costing a whopping INR 6 Crores. As per reports, the movie is based on the red sandalwood smuggling ring and is going to be a thriller.
