With Black Friday in the rearview mirror, the holiday shopping season continues with Cyber Monday. Online and brick-and-mortar retailers are slashing prices even deeper on popular gifting categories such as tech, toys, home goods, fashion, jewelry, beauty and more, including Amazon, Nordstrom, Target, Walmart and many others. Even cord-cutters can save big: Hulu, Peacock, Paramount+ and Prime Video are offering some of the best Cyber Monday streaming deals.

Most brick-and-mortar retail chains offer convenient same- or next-day in-store or curbside pickup for online orders, and many are also extending their return policies to accommodate shoppers’ busy holiday schedules. Big-box store chains such as Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Target and Walmart also have convenient same-day delivery through services such as Shipt (which is offering new customers 50 percent off their annual membership) and Instacart.

When does Cyber Monday start?

Cyber Monday in 2023 officially begins Monday, Nov. 27, and many sales are continuing through the end of the year.

Are there Black Friday and Cyber Monday price match guarantees?

Target’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee is in effect for products purchased between Oct. 22 to Dec. 24, and the company will match the price on select products if the price goes lower during that period.

Members of Best Buy’s Totaltech and My Best Buy programs will get refunded the difference on any purchases on “Black Friday Price Guarantee” products if the price is reduced on or before Nov. 24. 

We suggest checking with each retailer for their online and in-store price-matching policies.

What are the Black Friday and Cyber Monday return policies?

Many retailers are offering extended return policies to accommodate the busy holiday shopping season. Amazon will accept returns on most items purchased from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, 2023 until Jan. 31, 2024, except for Apple products, which must be returned by Jan. 15, 2024.

Best Buy will accept returns on select items until Jan. 13, 2024 for purchases made between Oct. 27 to Dec. 30, 2023, with exclusions on activatable devices and holiday decorations.

Target’s refund period starts Dec. 26 for select electronics and entertainment items (excluding Apple products) purchased Oct. 1 to Dec. 24, and returns must be made by Jan. 24, 2024 for all electronics and entertainment items (excluding Apple products); see more details here.

Other retailers will also offer extended return windows; check with each of them to confirm the dates.
