Biopics has been the toast of the town for a long time. People love to watch real stories and get inspired by some known legends and learn from their faults. After biopics on Milkha Singh (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag – 2013), Saina Nehawal (Saina – 2021) and the upcoming Mithali Raj (Shabaash Mitthu) biopic, it looks like Bollywood is all set for another sports biopic.
This morning Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and her husband Nitesh Tiwari took to their social media accounts to share news about their next project. They shared pictures of tennis legends MS Bhupati and Leander Paes.
Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari captioned this picture saying, “I’m honoured and filled with immense gratitude to play my part in bringing this incredible story of the legendary pair of @leanderpaesand @mbhupathi to the world along with @niteshtiwari22 on #ZEE5.”
The Dangal director shared the same picture and shared his excitement by saying, “Excited and honoured to bring the untold story of tennis legends @leander and @Maheshbhupathi to the world along with @ashwinyiyer on #ZEE5.”
Mahesh and Leander are true tennis greats and it would be interesting to see their life story being retold by such great filmmakers as Ashwiny IyerTiwari and her husband NiteshTiwari.
