
An investigation was underway after three men were injured in a shooting in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood on Sunday night, police said.
At around 7:46 p.m., three men were near the sidewalk in the 5400 block of South Laflin when an unknown vehicle approached and two people inside opened fired, authorities stated. A 29-year-old man was struck in the hand and taken to a local hospital in fair condition.
A 30-year-old man sustained injuries to both legs and was also hospitalized in fair condition. A third victim, a 31-year-old man, sustained a gunshot wound to the arm and was also reported to be in fair condition at an area hospital.
Detectives were investigating as of late Sunday night.
