Bridgerton Becomes Biggest Series Ever On Netflix (watch)

Bridgerton has become the biggest series ever on Netflix.

According to Netflix, some 82 million households globally chose to watch Bridgerton in its first 28 days.

Bridgerton arrived on Netflix on December 25, 2020 with 8-episodes for the first season.

After some weeks, Netflix confirmed its Season 2. Bridgerton is on the story of the Bridgerton family: Violet, Lady Bridgerton; her four sons, Anthony, Benedict, Colin and Gregory and her four daughters, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca and Hyacinth. Also featured are the Featheringtons: Portia, Lady Featherington; her husband the Baron; and their three daughters, Philippa, Prudence and Penelope. It also looks at Daphne Bridgerton who ends up being married to Simon, the Duke of Hastings – and the mysterious author Lady Whistledown who is to be unmasked.

Netflix says the series has made the top 10 in every country except Japan – hitting number one in 83 countries including the US, UK, Brazil, France, India and South Africa.

Bridgerton overtakes previous title holder The Witcher, which was watched by 76 million households for Season 1. The Witcher season 1 debuted in 2019.
