
More than 30 school buses in Chicago were damaged when unidentified thieves stole catalytic converters off them early Wednesday morning, according to Chicago police.
Around 4:30 a.m., roughly 33 yellow school buses were discovered to have had their catalytic converters stolen off them while they were parked in a lot on the 4100 block of West Chicago Avenue in the city’s Humbold Park neighborhood, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Detectives are continuing to investigate.
No additional information was immediately available.
