People are having mixed feelings about videos of Goonew Funeral Rapper’s Dead Body Standing on Stage
Bliss Night Club, who held the ceremony released a statement after details of the ceremony went viral.
“Our deepest condolences to Goonew’s family, friends and fans,” the venue wrote in a statement. Bliss was contacted by a local funeral home to rent out our venue for Goonew’s home-going celebration. Bliss was never made aware of what would transpire. We sincerely apologize to all those who may be upset or offended.”
However, some fans seem like they were here for it, while others say it’s a no for them.

Another person wrote, “this is actually sad . But if the family ok with it ima leave my opinion to self because it’s a no for me but.”

This is not the first time a person has had their body positioned at a funeral.
In 2014 an 80-year-old grandmother from Puerto Rico was sent off sitting upright in her rocking chair and wearing her wedding gown.
The folks at Marin are known for their unusual funeral arrangements which they call “dioramas”.
Another instance was when Che Lewis, a 29-year-old who was shot and killed in Trinidad and Tobago, faced stiff opposition at a church when he arrived sitting on a chair, not lying in a coffin.
