Ghanaian comedian, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng , popularly known as Funny Face, is expected to stay a bit longer at the Patang Psychiatric Hospital in Accra.
An Ofaakor Circuit Court in Accra extended his stay at the health facility on the directive of doctors.
The doctors, African Entertainment understands, wrote to the Ofaakor Circuit Court presided over by Ebenezer Osei Darko, asking that Funny Face’s days in the hospital be extended.
According to the doctors, Funny Face is still having troubles articulating his thoughts, among others.
They indicated to the court that Funny Face has been put on strict treatment that requires enough rest.
Subsequently, the Court approved the doctors demand and extended the comedian’s stay.
The case has therefore been adjourned to April 11, 2021.
Funny Face was convicted by a court after he was alleged to have fired a gun in public during a scuffle with a bar owner in Kasoa.
