Singer Sonnie Badu is currently trending on Twitter after a user called him out for flaunting a fake doctorate degree from an unaccredited university.
The celebrated Gospel evangelist is getting dragged by a Twitter user with the handle MNM Mensah who claimed his investigative report was to expose Badu as an academic fraudster.

In Mensah’s lengthy thread, he revealed that Evangelist Badu acquired a Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degree in four months from an unaccredited university in the United States.

Mensah’s tweets further revealed that the singer parades his many academic achievements as the grace of God, thereby misleading followers.
“For an ‘iconic’ Gospel Musician who is proclaiming the gospel through music and preaching, I find it sad how he drags the name of God into the gutters calling it grace”, Mensah tweeted.

In order to authenticate these I quickly send a mail to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation – the institution responsible for the accreditation of all Universities and Colleges in the United States of America.

It’s therefore surprising that @SonnieBaduuk makes several posts this morning claiming we are trying to pull him down. Hence calling us frogs and fools for questioning the Authenticity of his degrees pic.twitter.com/Ees1rLWKGg

Sonnie Badu responds
In the wake of the latest allegations, Badu took to his social handles with a cryptic message calling out frogs who did not understand his journey. “When they don’t understand the frequency of your grace and you hard work behind the scenes they bring their own PHD (pull him down) LIONS DONT RESPOND TO FROGS,” Badu wrote on Instagram.
