Gregg Leakes, the husband of the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, NeNe Leakes, has reportedly died from colon cancer.
Multiple American media reports monitored by African Entertainment revealed that Mr Leakes died this evening at the age of 66.
NeNe, aged 53, had earlier in 2021 disclosed that that Gregg’s previously diagnosed stage III colon cancer had returned.
She stated in an Instagram Live at the time that “If you’ve ever been around somebody who’s had cancer before, he’s different.”
NeNe revealed also that Gregg had entered the hospital for surgery and would be home within days, but he stayed there for six weeks. She later disclosed that Gregg’s health had worsened significantly.
On Saturday, August 28, 2021, she informed guests at her Linnethia Lounge in Duluth, Georgia, that “My husband is transitioning to the other side.”
