Iyanna Mayweather has been bonded out of jail on a 30,000 dollar bond after stabbing arrest.
Mayweather’s daughter was detained at Houston’s Harris County jail early Saturday morning after an incident with Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, better known as rapper NBA Youngboy, and Lapattra Lashai Jacobs. According to TMZ, Law enforcement was told the 19-year-old Mayweather, who goes by Money Yaya, had an argument with Jacobs that escalated to Iyanna stabbing her with a knife.
According to the report, Mayweather arrived at NBA Youngboy’s home in Houston when the two women got into the altercation in the kitchen. According to TMZ, Iyanna told Jacobs that she was NBA Youngboy’s fiance.
Reports go on on to say that Jacobs was told to leave the premises but refused to go.
The refusal spiraled into an argument, eventually leading its way to the kitchen where Iyanna Mayweather grabbed two knives. Lapattra Jacobs reportedly stepped towards Mayweather leading to Iyanna rushing the woman with one of the knives. Jacobs told police that she didn’t feel the first knife stabbing her, but then Mayweather stabbed her with the second knife. Paramedics arrived to find Jacobs on the ground. They took her to a local hospital where her condition is currently unknown.
YoungBoy was home during the incident and was placed in handcuffs as an assumed precautionary measure. Mayweather told police that Jacobs sparked the incident by pulling her hair outside of the house then running into the kitchen. Per reports, Iyanna told police that she didn’t know Jacobs before the incident. Mayweather is now being held on a felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge.
There is no telling at this point if the charges will be dropped to self defense, depending on how the full details unravel in court. At this moment NBA Young Boy seems to have Iyanna Mayweather’s side aftre he defended her against comments from Kodak Black who posted about the incident.
