Joe Cunningham Charlotte Owner of Wraps2Go is under fire for posting racist remarks on his Facebook page. The remarks were screenshot and shared to a group. In a post he stated, “n** will always be n**, 100 straight loosers. All of them thieves deserve there neck stepped on .. trash of the world.”
Cunningham has since then deleted his Facebook page, and has not commented on the screenshot. The company provides vehicle wraps and graphics, signs, wall graphics, tint and paint protection film according to the companies Facebook page, which also can not be located anymore. People in the are are urging residents to ban the company immediately.
The company shows registration at 727 Johnson Road in High Point, North Carolina and began it’s service in the area in March of 2014.
According to Hip Hop Vibe, Cunningham’s remarks were pertaining to the latest George Floyd assassination by police but referencing Black people as a whole.
George Floyd’s death by police has caused much riot among the city of Minneapolis. Other states have joined in on protesting as well. While peaceful protesting has been encouraged, dangerous riots have occurred causing injuries, damage to companies and death.
People are encouraged to put pressure on the District Attorney, Mike Freeman as the officers have been fired but have not yet been arrested. anyone can do so by texting Floyd to 55156.
