The panel returned the control of the tollgate to the Lekki Concession Company on Saturday, February 6 after the Lekki Concession Company had been praying to the panel to take over the plaza for repair and insurance claims since December 2020.
But their pleas were denied by the panel as the toll plaza could not be handed over since a forensic expert has been paid by the Lagos State government to examine the toll gate with respect to the October 20 shooting incidents.
However, today, February 6, the LCC has been approved by the Chairman of the panel, Justice Okuwobi to allow the company take over the Lekki toll gate.
