
Dark smoke and flames could be seen on the roof of a building in Chicago as firefighters battled a heavy blaze Friday, video showed.
Around noon, large plume of dark smoke could be seen rising from what appeared to be a residential building near South Rockwell and West 46th Street in Chicago’s Brighton Park neighborhood, video posted to social media showed.
Shattering glass could be heard in the video as firefighters used a ladder and hoses to spray the fire.
No one was injured in the fire, Chicago Fire Department said.
The blaze was put out around 1 p.m., CFD said.
No additional information was immediately available.
