The Big Brother Naija season five winner Laycon has a 10-episode reality show exclusive to Showmax.
The Showmax original show which premiered with five episodes on February 11, 2021, will follow the life of the reality post the Big Brother Naija show. It promises an exclusive look into Laycon music and personal life.
As promised, episode one kicked off with a bang! The singer addressed for the first time since leaving the house, his own side of the rift between himself and Erica.
Between clips from the Lockdown season, Laycon revealed the only way he could truly heal from the heartbreak of unrequited love was by talking about it to other housemates.
Recall Erica got disqualified for becoming hysterical after learning Laycon had been badmouthing her to other housemates.
“So in a house, where we were just twenty of us and I’m sorry, how was I supposed to deal with that issue if not talk about it? Cause even when I’m outside the house, I talked about it,” Laycon said.
“I needed space, I need space. I try to give space as much as possible but in the house…that we were together in, that was hard for me. And talking about it kind of helped me mentally go through it. So, that’s that.”
