A Los Angeles Superior Court has ordered American rap music mogul, Dr Dre to pay his estranged wife, Nicole, $300,000 a month or $3 million a year in spousal support until he remarries or dies.
According to multiple American media reports monitored by African Entertainment, court documents show the amount is only temporary.
The amount, reports say, will be finalized when the court makes a final decision on what he will ultimately pay Nicole Young as part of a divorce settlement.
News outlet, Radar, first reported about the amount Dr. Dre, real name Andre Young, is being asked to pay Nicole.
Reports further indicated that he has also been asked by the court to continue paying ffor Nicole’s health insurance and will “continue paying the expenses for the Malibu, and Pacific Palisades homes.”
“[Dre] is ordered to pay to the [Nicole] spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, commencing August 1, 2021,” the order states. That comes to about $3.5 million in support per year, not including other expenses, Radar report sighted by African Entertainment indicated.
