Man United Left Disappointed As Sheffield United Shockingly Grab First Old Trafford Victory In 48 Years


 

Manchester United players have been left with disappointment following their shocking Premier League defeat to bottom club, Sheffield United.

The Red Devils lost 2-1 to the Blades at Old Trafford.

The Wednesday night, January 27, 2021 win was the first of its kind for Sheffield United at Old Trafford in the last 48 years. Sheffield United last won Man United at Old Trafford in December 1973.

A former Sheffield United player and now a Man United defender, Harry Maguire, who scored his side’s lone goal of the match in  the 64th minute, has voiced out the frustrations of Man United’s players, especially as the defeat has in a way affected their title ràce, moving them from number one on the Premier League table to number 2.

 

“We had all the possession, but when you concede two bad goals, it’s always going to be difficult,” according to United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
