Women’s rights activist and Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West Constituency, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has named the person who taught her the importance of speaking her mind.

According to Mrs. Owusu-Ekuful, Ghana’s Minister of Communications and Digitalization, her mother is the person who raised her to be the fearless and tough-talking woman she is today.

She made this known in a birthday message to her mother on her official Facebook page.

“Happy birthday to the woman who gave birth to me, raised me to fear God, work hard and speak my mind and nurtured me. Happy 79th birthday to my mum, Christina Akua Brago-Diawuo,” she wrote on Facebook.
