One of the world’s best sprinters, Cameron Burrell, has reportedly committed suicide.
Burrell, the godson of legendary sprinter Carl Lewis, was reported dead earlier this week.
But reports in a number of US media outlets monitored by African Entertainment, revealed that Burrell’s death as been ruled as suicide.
Specifically, TMZ reported that available records show that Burrell’s “manner of death was ruled a suicide after his body was inspected by the medical examiner this week. The cause of death was listed as a “gunshot wound of the head.”
Burrell was aged 26 years old and was one of the finest runners in the world.
According to reports, he died on Monday, August 9, 2021, in a Houston, Texas parking garage.
