
Police in suburban Park Ridge are asking for the public to review any surveillance video that may have captured a battery that left a person seriously injured.
According to police, the incident is believed to have occurred between 6:30 and 8:15 p.m. on Monday in a neighborhood between the areas of Prospect Avenue and Oakton Street and Cumberland and Devon avenues. Police are asking residents who have doorbell or surveillance cameras to check footage from that timeframe.
Investigators are looking for any video that may have captured one or two male teens walking in the area – or involved in a fight.
Police said the incident was isolated, and there’s no ongoing danger to the community.
