
An investigation remains underway after a forklift fell off a truck and onto a vehicle in suburban Barrington Hills Tuesday.
According to fire officials, paramedics were called to the area near Dundee Road and Bateman Road at approximately 4:12 p.m. for reports of a single-vehicle crash.
When they arrived they found that a forklift had fallen off of a truck and struck a vehicle, with one person requiring extrication after the collision, according to officials.
That individual was extricated after approximately 10 minutes, and was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
The roadway was temporarily closed for an investigation into the collision, and the cause of that crash remains under investigation at this time.
