Pogba’s Thunderous Strike Seals Victory (watch highlights)

A top class finish from Frenchman, Paul Pogba, has kept Manchester United at the top of the Premier League table.

In the 64th minute on Wednesday night, January 20, 2021, it Fulham 1-1 Man United at Craven Cottage. Lookman had put Fulham ahead in the 5th minute through a perfect drill.

But Uruguayan, Edinson Cavani, leveled for Man United in the 21th minute after an initial save from Fulham’s French goalkeeper, Areola, fell right before him in the box.

And in the 65th minute Pogba’s powerful left-footed strike from outside the area, doubled the lead for Man United.

Prior to the match, United had moved from the first-place on the table to third-place. But the 2-1 win has sent them back to the top with 40 points, followed by Man City with 38 points and Leicester City with 38 points as well.

The results from Craven Cottage marks Man United’s eighth away win in the 2020/2021 Premier League season.
