A senior Ghanaian police officer is alleged to have shot himself to death.
Information available to African Entertainment indicates that the Jomoro Municipal Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Zeprain Zenge, killed himself on Saturday morning, January 30, 2021, at his bungalow in Half Assini.
He was aged 57 and an eyewitness account says he left behind a suicide note which read: “I am fed up in this world”.
The Public Relations Officer of the Western Regional Police Command, DSP Olivia Adiku, has confirmed the death of his colleague police commander in an interview with the media.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital for preservation and autopsy.
