Pop star Sabrina Carpenter has filed a request for a restraining order against a man who trespassed onto her property numerous times in the last several weeks.
A court document submitted on Friday states that 31-year-old William Applegate trespassed onto the singer’s property four different times since April, with the latest incident occurring last week. The request also included several images of Applegate at Carpenter’s door, as captured by her home security camera.
The pop star described the man as a “complete stranger” to her in the court document, saying he was never invited to her home.
“I have never met him or communicated with him in any way,” Carpenter’s statement in the petition read. “I have no desire to meet him or communicate with him.”
The request also seeks protection against the man for one of Carpenter’s sisters, as well as the boyfriend of that sister. The petition comes after police told NBC4 Investigates that a man was arrested for trespassing on Carpenter’s property and fighting with security guards.
