    South Shore building fire injures 2 – NBC Chicago



    Two people were hospitalized in critical condition after a fire and mayday call in the South Shore neighborhood early Sunday, authorities said.

    The fire was reported at around 5 a.m. near East 67th Street and South Crandon Avenue.

    Two people were critically injured and taken to an area hospital. No additional injuries were reported.

    Fire officials said crews managed to extinguish the fire but haven’t released any further details.
