The City Girls Billboard interview showed them how well they knew each other and a reflection on JT’s jail time.
Yung Miami and JT kicked off 202 by covering Billboard’s first magazine cover of the year. During their photo shoot, the duo sat down to prove how well they know each other when it comes to favorite movies, childhood crushes, first concerts, and emojis.
In the video, which you can watch above, Yung Miami is first asked what JT’s favorite movie is, to which she replies with a laugh, “That b—h ain’t got no favorite movie. That b—h don’t even watch TV!”
JT and Yung Miami revealed that Yung Miami’s first concert was the Scream Tour. The Scream Tour IV was a summer 2005 concert tour featuring Bow Wow, Omarion, Marques Houston, B5, Pretty Ricky and Bobby Valentino
One of The City Girls is a fan of The Players Club. This was totally JT saying, “I just came to dance with y’all…That is my favorite part, when Junior’s bachelor party…I don’t watch TV since back in the days, that’s why it’s a old ass movie!”
During their interview The City Girls were pretty lit, as it is JT’s 27th birthday. The rapper legally born as Jatavia Johnson has been out of federal prison for about seven weeks. She served 16 months for credit card fraud, but her sentence isn’t technically over until March.
JT admitted that The City Girls are not subtle, but she surely does not want to go back to jail. She told Billboard, The City Girls are not subtle — only reason I’m subtle right now is ’cause I can’t do nothing!” “I’m just trying to stay out of jail. But if a bitch try me…!”
Yung Miami also spoke on the changes of her new life. Caresha Brownlee who is currently 26 years old recently experienced motherhood to her second child , giving birth to a beautiful baby girl. Yung Miami is currently trying to convince her publicist to hook her daughter Summer up with a Gerber endorsement deal.
She told Billboard, “I just can’t believe how cute this baby is!” marvels the publicist. Yung Miami bats her lashes. “Have you seen me?” she deadpans. “I don’t know what’s so unbelievable.”
